60th Birthday Surprise!

I've taken over the blog today to share a bit of a personal post with you.  My Dad turned 60 this August and my sister, Mom & I planned a surprise party for him, I mean, who doesn't love a surprise right?!  To know my Dad is to love my Dad and one of the many things to love about him is his timelessly fashionable mustache.  He's had one since he could grow one and I've only known him to have one, in all my 29 years of life, which is how we landed on the theme of a "Surprise 60th Mustache Bash."  When you start looking for mustache details it's amazing what you can find (pins, confetti, stickers, duct tape, t-shirts, tattoos, straws, glassware, the list goes on and on!) so we had a ton of fun putting it all together.  The day of the party was a fast and furious set-up and wait, as most surprise parties go, and when my Dad finally arrived he was SO SURPRISED!!  I was so happy it worked out well and while everyone had a great time the most important person to really enjoy it was my Dad.

6 month old Ryan

How time flies!!  I had the pleasure of shooting Ryan's 6 month session and this time his wonderful parents got in on the action.  I can't believe how much he has grown in 6 short months but looking back on his newborn session you can see just how much he still looks the same, with that thoughtful look and those big beautiful eyes!  Ryan is our first baby that we've been able to capture at newborn, 3 months, 6 months (and hopefully a year!), all of those amazing developmental stages in their first year of life and what a gift for his parents and family to be able to look back on this time, I can't recommend it enough to new parents!  So much fun to see you again Creamer family, thank you as always for such a great time!

Hello all! Ellie here. I've been on a little break since having a beautiful baby girl, (I'll post a picture or two soon!) but now I'm happy to have the camera back out. My first shoot back was a really special one to me, a newborn shoot for a dear friend! You may remember Ashley, her family is blogged in our 'family' section. You'll see her baby bump there and now her baby boy is finally here! Take a look at her cutie- Welcome to the world baby Jase!!
