We shoot natural light portraits capturing your beautiful new baby in the comfort of your home or your family at a gorgeous outdoor location. Once we have a scheduled date, we'll work together to identify the best time to shoot your portraits, please note early morning sunrise and late afternoon sunset provide the best, most beautiful light to capture your images. As part of our pre-session conversation we'll help clarify any questions you have and come to the specifics for your session together.
NEWBORN SESSIONS
We love shooting newborn babies and the best time to do so is when they are brand new, preferably 7-10 days old. That is when they are the sleepiest and easiest to work with and enjoy being swaddled and curled into those sweet poses. The ideal time for your new little ones portrait session is in the morning right after their feeding so they are full and happy and sleepy! We come fully prepared with all necessary supplies and accessories but have grown to love shooting in your babies new room to get a sense of your personal style and incorporate that into the shoot as much as possible. We want to capture your new beautiful baby in simple, neutral set-ups so little is required from you besides having them fully fed and swaddled in a blanket when we arrive so we can get started shortly after set-up. Once your baby is in our hands that's when we get to work and it's your time to rest and relax, 2 words you might not hear that often as new parents so take advantage!! Sessions can run anywhere from 2-4 hours all depending on your babies comfort level. If they need more time to settle or require another feeding or a changing, we accommodate for whatever their needs are to get the best images possible. We also want to capture this once in a lifetime moment of being a brand new family so minimal accessorizing and neutral clothing will shoot the best in your portraits. At the time of your booking we'll share additional details and "what to expect" so you're fully prepared to have a smooth, productive and beautiful session with us and your new baby.
