Bennett Newborn

Thursday, June 16, 2016

Being able to capture images of my friends as they continue to grow their families has been one of the most precious things to come of my love & learned skill of photography.  You might remember the Monaco family from their latest session with me when I captured newborn images of Vivienne here and a little over a year and a half later they have welcomed the fifth member of the family, baby boy Bennett!  He was a dream to work with, slept nicely, quickly nursed and then let his little sisters hold him to capture some adorable sibling images and wrapping things up with the full family of five.  Congratulations once again Jackie & Paolo, so excited for another little boy joining our crew!

Estelle Newborn

Saturday, June 4, 2016

Sweet baby girl Estelle waited a little over a week past her due date to make her grand entrance into this world, I'm sure for Mom & Dad it felt like centuries but when she arrived and was safely home I was able to capture some lovely images of her.  My session was gifted to Mom & Dad from a mutual friend and quite honestly, such a sweet and thoughtful gift to give.  Being able to have memories of this time is priceless because it goes by in the blink of an eye, so to look back at how small and precious and perfect she was will be such a gift.  While sleep was not on our side during this session from Miss Estelle, I waited her out and when she finally caved for a mere 20 minutes I snapped away and captured her in all of her perfection!
Thank you Kelly & Mike for welcoming me into your home and spending your Sunday morning with me, it was an absolute pleasure and congratulations again!

And when you have 20 minutes, one set-up with many different angles helps to provide variety without too much disruption!
